Anil Kapoor returns in a fierce new avatar as Prime Video drops the first teaser of ‘Subedaar’. The action-drama’s cast and global release details are now officially out.

Subedaar Teaser: Just when the streaming space starts to feel crowded, Prime Video drops a teaser that says this is not a quiet release. ‘Subedaar’ is coming, and it wants your full attention.
At the heart of ‘Subedaar’ is Arjun Maurya, a retired soldier who doesn’t quite fit into the modern world he now lives in. Anil Kapoor plays this tough, disciplined man who once lived by rules, honour and service.

Retirement, however, is not peaceful for him. Crime, corruption and moral decay surround him, and his personal life is no less messy.

Arjun’s relationship with his family, especially his daughter, is strained. As the world around him changes fast, his values are tested at every step.
The film is directed by Suresh Triveni, known for emotionally rich stories like ‘Tumhari Sulu,’ ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Daldal.’ This time, he blends emotion with intensity. The screenplay is written by Triveni along with Prajwal Chandrashekar.
Backing up Kapoor and Radhikka Madan is a solid supporting cast. Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik and Mona Singh appear in key roles.
‘Subedaar’ is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni under Opening Image Films, in association with Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network.
‘Subedaar’ will stream exclusively on Prime Video starting March 5. The film will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
